Are discoid roaches legal in Florida?
Yes — discoid roaches are the federally-allowed roach species across most of Florida, where Dubia roaches face restrictions. They cannot establish wild populations because they need 78°F+ temperatures to reproduce.
What happens if my feeders arrive dead?
Email us within 2 hours of delivery. We replace the dead feeders or refund your order — your choice. No photos required, no hassle, no questions asked.
Why subscriptions every 2 weeks instead of weekly?
Two-week cycles match the natural lifecycle of most feeders (silkworms run a 28-day cycle, BSFL ~38 days). It also keeps shipping costs down per delivery, and it's the cadence that aligned best with feeding schedules across the species we serve most.
Why are silkworms more expensive than crickets?
Silkworms eat only mulberry leaves and have a strict 28-day lifecycle, which makes them more expensive to produce. Per gram, they cost 4-6× more than crickets retail — but their calcium balance and low fat make them an excellent supplement.
Is everything currently shipping?
Commerce is currently paused while AAC reorganizes under a new entity. Use the Notify Me forms on any product or feeding plan page — you'll be the first to know when we resume. The care guide library stays live throughout.
