"one gravid female (MUSM 40922, one egg on each side of the belly) was found under moss along with five empty eggs likely in the process of egg deposition. Eggs were found in pairs under moss in a depth of ca. 10 cm in open areas exposed to the sun. Nesting grounds often contained multiple pairs of eggs (some developing, others hatched) indicating that females either return to the same nesting places or that popular nesting places are frequented by multiple females."
