Golden Child White Albino Reticulated Python

One animal carrying both genes. Each one is inherited separately, so this combination is made by bringing them together rather than being a gene of its own.

The two genes

Golden Child
co-dominant
Gold and orange lifted through the pattern, with reduced black along the back.
White Albino
recessive
A separate albino line, holding far less colour and leaving a white and yellow animal.

How one is made

Both genes have to come together in the same animal. The pairing that does it most directly is Golden Child × White Albino, which works out every outcome and its odds.

Worth knowing

White Albino. Not compatible with the Purple albino — the two lines sit at different loci, so a pairing between them yields no albinos.
