Mack Snow Rainwater Albino Common Leopard Gecko
One animal carrying both genes. Each one is inherited separately, so this combination is made by bringing them together rather than being a gene of its own.
The two genes
- Mack Snow
- co-dominant
- Yellow pigment reduced, giving a white background. Two copies produce Super Snow: near-white with solid dark eyes.
- Rainwater Albino
- recessive
- The smallest-effect of the three albino strains, often lighter with pinker eyes.
How one is made
Both genes have to come together in the same animal. The pairing that does it most directly is Mack Snow × Rainwater Albino, which works out every outcome and its odds.
Worth knowing
Rainwater Albino. One of three separate albino strains, not compatible with Tremper or Bell. Pairing across strains yields no albinos.
