Hypomelanistic Sharp Albino Red-Tailed Boa Constrictor

One animal carrying both genes. Each one is inherited separately, so this combination is made by bringing them together rather than being a gene of its own.

The two genes

Hypomelanistic
co-dominant
Reduced black pigment, giving a cleaner, brighter animal that keeps its pattern. Two copies produce a Super Hypo, lighter again.
Sharp Albino
recessive
A separate albino line, keeping more yellow and less pink than the Kahl form, with darker eyes.

How one is made

Both genes have to come together in the same animal. The pairing that does it most directly is Hypomelanistic × Sharp Albino, which works out every outcome and its odds.

Worth knowing

Sharp Albino. Not compatible with the Kahl albino. The two lines arose independently and sit at different loci, so pairing them produces no albino offspring at all.
