Anerythristic Type II Kahl Albino Red-Tailed Boa Constrictor

One animal carrying both genes. Each one is inherited separately, so this combination is made by bringing them together rather than being a gene of its own.

The two genes

Anerythristic Type II
recessive
A separate anerythristic line, often browner than Type I and holding more pattern.
Kahl Albino
recessive
No black pigment, leaving cream, orange and pink with red eyes.

How one is made

Both genes have to come together in the same animal. The pairing that does it most directly is Anerythristic Type II × Kahl Albino, which works out every outcome and its odds.

Worth knowing

Kahl Albino. There are two separate albino lines in boas, Kahl and Sharp, and they are different genes. A Kahl albino bred to a Sharp albino produces normal-looking young — each carrying one copy of each gene, and not one of them albino. Check which line an animal comes from before pairing it.
