"this lizard is mostly found on the leaf litter covered floor, but also on rocks and low vegetation" (Kohler et al. 2014), arboreal: "We made 542 observations of yearling, juvenile, and adult Anolis carlliebi. From these observations, 397 (73.2%) were found perching in leaves of Agave stricta, 115 (21.2%) in inflorescences of A. stricta (Fig. 1A), 13 (2.4%) in leaves of Hechtia podantha, and 17 (3.1%) in other microhabitat types."
