Medium Rats
Medium rats are the most popular frozen rat size — suitable for adult ball pythons, adult king snakes, and medium-sized boas. The workhorse size for most snake collections.
Feeding tips: Thaw in warm water (never microwave). Offer with tongs — never hand-feed. Prey width should match the widest part of your snake's body. Feed juvenile ball pythons every 5-7 days, adults every 10-14 days.
